Any of you guys ever get to fly a Lockheed Electra L-10?

What was it like?

For some reason I think that is one of the coolest looking civilian
(at first) planes I've ever laid eyes on. Looking into it, I see K.
Johnson helped develop it. There's something about that man. The
Electra (well, as wind tunnel tester). The P-38. The SR-71.

He was a complete and total bad a$$.

They're pretty rare. They never made the production numbers that the Twin
Beech did. I flew those for quite a few years. Lots of people did. They
made an awful lot of 'em!
