It starts getting -really- surreal about 5:15 when he tries to power the jet
out of the water.

That was an expensive mistake, glad no one was hurt.

I think that's from the wires shorting in the water, not the pilot
trying to power the jet out of the water. I think everyone has exited
by that time, but what do I know?

Nice find BTW.

Where is Atlanta Bay?

I tried Google Earth, and it found Atlanta (inland of course), but not
Atlanta Bay

That one's been around a while. There's also been much speculation about why
the engines spooled up apparently after everybody was out.

Here's one thread from 2006:

It's an old clip, actually from Atlantic City, NJ.

Wow, this video brings back old memories. There was a lot of
discussion about it when it first came out, mostly about the fact the
one of the women that comes out of the plane is topless. Apparently
the women were prostitutes that the two men were bringing along.

Wow, a jetload of hookers and he probably still didn't get laid.

I bet if they tested the guy they'd find some combination of alcohol and
"white drugs."

I bought my wife one of those "Remove Before Flight" tank-tops from
Sporty's. Guess they probably need a "Put Back On Before Landing" shirt,
too.
