Viking Cygnet plans?

Are the plans still obtainable? Is there a contact E-mail or address for the supplier? Its a shame that there is not more info on these aircraft. A simple easy build metal wing would also be a nice addition. It would also make for a nice floatplane.

The address for Viking on the Great Plains site will work. I received
plans last spring. The wood wing isn't difficult to build, just a lot of
pieces to cut and glue. Other than a table saw to rip the lattice
strips, you can pretty much build it with hand tools. On the plans it
claims 300 man hours to build the wings which is probably a little low.

The plans only call for aircraft spruce for the main spar. The rest
calls for spruce or white pine. The ribs and secondary spar webs are
marine ply.

The Cygnet would make a poor floatplane with the VW, if anything because
you have to use wood props which won't last long on the water, and also
because high static thrust is really important on floats. The 80 hp
Jabiru would be better or ideally the 912, in that application, being
geared.

An engine heavier than 170 lbs plays hell with the empty CG and will
require a lot of tail ballast. The original designer Bert Sisler was
said to be installing a Jab in his prototype a/c.

Anyway, send a check to the address on the Great Plains site for plans.
They aren't too expensive.
