Well, they're all variations on a theme, aren't they? All beautiful and
goers, too.
Someone is making a nice small engined aircraft similar to the SF airplanes
in Italy. I can't remember the name off the top of my head. They're kits,
and expensive, but if they go as well as they look, probably worth it.

No, it's not a Frati, I'll have a look a bit later and see ifI can
find it. The sf 260 definitely isn't a kit plane anyhow!

It is a good looking plane...
OTOH, 200 hp gets you 190 kts maximum... A Mooney 201 does that - and
has 4 seats!
The wing aspect ratio is 6.4... Notice they do not mention the glide
ratio...Lose the airscrew out front and you are truly screwed...
Nor do they list a stall speed... A telling number is the ratio
between stall speed and maximum speed... Taint there...
Sorry guys, it is not step forward in performance...
Sure is good looking, though...

Uh, yeh, they do. They also quote performance for both types for 180 HP and
not 200 and th eLD is rarely mentioned in sales literature
A telling number is the ratio

It is, actually, and it's well in excess of three to one for both type.

Nobody said it was.

For a monoplane.
