It appears Al G has finished uploading his scans of the 1945 CARs to my
picture gallery. I hadn't noticed because the permissions were wrong -
I've now set them so anybody can see them. You can see them at
http://gallery.xcski.com/v/agerhart/
Note that there is a pull down menu at the top right to change the size -
with my eyes I prefer one of the bigger sizes.
I'm going to see if I can OCR (Optical Character Read) these files and
produce a nice PDF.

Many thanks for your effort in this project, Paul.
Is it possible to cause the pull-down resolution setting to remain
constant between page viewing's?

Thanks Paul, good job.
One of my favorites: "Warning...Many old regulations have been
abolished but their effectiveness has been incorporated in that new
regulation called 'Careless or Reckless operation of an aircraft.' It is
still fixed so the inspector can tag you if you indulge in any funny stuff."
(page 3)
What would a defense lawyer today make of the phrase "Funny stuff"?
Note also the "Quad" rule as opposed to today's Hemispherical rule.

That used to work, I don't know why it stopped.
