Hi,
Nice video.
Where was that shot ?
I thought initially I recognized some of the French southern Alps
features...but no, I don't recognize the airfield and the lake with the road
nex to it where he does a beat up...
+ the guy on the radio seem to be speaking some
Looks very much like the Alps though, with some "serious mountains"
around....where would that be ?

I visited Bielsko-Biala last winter to pick up our club Janus after
repainting. The Poles did a very clean job on the Janus. Altogether
Poland left a good impression on me: Pretty women, beautiful gliders
and good beer;-) Soaring conditions also look good, so that I'm
planning on returning for a week of flying some time.

French Alps as well:

And some of the scenes REALLy look like what I'm used to when flying....when
others don't....so I suppose there's a mix of both Poland and French Alpes,

OK, I just watched the takeoff and the flying (barely..) above the reservoir
with concrete walls. -And that was certainly Bielsko-Biala.
....Sounds like I have to watch the entire video again. -Making sure to know
the facts that I comment on?? What's the World coming to ;-?

You guys are both right. Majority of the video comes from Zar and
there is a small section that was shot in the French Alps (there is a
Ventus flying along what seems to an AS cockpit); St.Auban Alps
gliding school received very high scores amongst glider pilots in
Poland. Both of the pilots that made this movie have been training
there at some point.
