WANTED: Compaq Aero 1550

Looking for a good fully functional used Compaq Aero 1550. I'll
replace batteries separately, if not working.

I have one too.

Includes cradle, software and memory-card (do not know how large but I
used to run Seeyou mobile on it)
Batteries I expect to be totally drained.

Thanks for all your responses...

Ebay showed no Aero1550s. But, there must be a lot of them sitting in
drawers no longer used.

I've located one from a fellow glider pilot and will pick it up
today...

Howerver, if it doesn't work properly (not counting dead batteries), I
may take some of you up on your offers.

Don't pay Compaq price for replacement batteries. I found Chinese
clones for a fraction of the price and, so far, they have worked well.

Search eBay for aero 1500 batteries.

There's lots of sources.

If you get them from Hong Kong, many times you'll need to trim the shrink
wrap from the terminal contacts. otherwise they're just fine.

Cameron Sino , made in Hong Kong is on the battery. My sale records
show retailed by Cellular Link @ $5.49 ea. Sold as Ebay item
130108150328 which is no longer active.
