Martin John Van Bommel died at his home in Darmstadt Germany where he
has lived with his family since 1968.
Funeral services for Marty will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2008.
Burial will also be held in Darmstadt.
Marty retired from Luftansa Airlines allowing him time to do the
things he loved, riding his motorcycle, piloting his glider, camping
and spending time with his girls.
Marty was proceeded in death by his parents, John and Ruth (Otto) Van
Bommel.
He is survived by his wife, Monika and their daughters, Lisa and
Christina. He is also survived by three brothers: Joe (Linda) Van
Bommel, Hortonville; James (Elizabeth) Van Bommel, Fond du lac; and
Kurt Van Bommel (Darcy); and a sister, MaryKay (John) Buck, Maryland;
a step-brother Ralph (Kay) Kamps, Madison; and a step-sister Mary
Kohl, Sheyboygan. His nieces: Sara, Molly, Lauren, Kelli, and
Danielle; and nephews: Lucas, Jesse, Joshua, and Daniel. He will be
missed too by his dog Kiley.
