I love April Fool's day. It is the one day a year that the rest of the
world catches up with USENET.

That won't work. The Moller skycar is the oldest running April Fool's

You know that die hard still has a website about that thing. 8
engines, hmm. That thing has been utter nonesense from day one.
It seems to attract to UFO crowd for some reason. The only person I
know that's enthused about it, is also a ufo believer. They must think
they can climb in a skycar and fly up to meet their ufo buddies in the
mothership.

I think if you launch one with one of those catapults like on an
aircraft carrier, it would fly for a short distance. ;o) The splat at
the end would be fun to watch especially if zoom or waun were at the
controls.
