They are from another Buff that is out of the picture, IIRC

They look to be the same size as the other bombs. Maybe they were
released from the underwing pylons.

If you look carefully at the picture, you can see external stores. My
guess is that the bombs in question came from there.

The external stores seem to all in place, no empty racks.

The B52D carried two external stores pylons, each pylon carried 2 "mers"
each mer(multiple ejection racks) carried 6 bombs. most of these would
be unseen from the angle the picture was taken.

Here's another B-52 picture showing the same "strays". They are from the
wing mounted MER. Each MER held 12 bombs. The "stray" bombs in question
are either from the opposite wing MER or from the right MER, part of which
in blocked from view by the right, inboard engine pylon. I was stationed in
Guam and Okinawa in '67 and '68 and MERs held either 500 or 750 pound iron
bombs.
