Does anyone have any experience in replacing the second O-ring in a
triple source socket? I am not talking about the third small O-ring
but the second O-ring which is the same as the first. Taking it out
was not difficult but putting a new one in might be a different story.
I thought there might be someone out there who has done it and who is
willing to give me some hints.

Dental pick or similar to remove. A brass rod machined to fit or
similar to push the o-ring in place, lubricate the o-ring with small
amount of silicone grease to help it slide in (supplied with at least
one manufacturer o-ring set). Clean old lubricant/dirt out as best you
can with non-lint wipes wadded up, etc. Do all this while cursing
loudly people who had removing the probe daily on a club ship to put
covers on.
