Region 5N Perry Day 1 #711 reporting

WE......First 15 Meter.........
8H First 18 Meter.........
Standard and Sports I can't recall right now.
All classes had TAT's. Several landouts. Weather was good but had
several gotta spots that required gear shifting. Some long cloud
streets. Winning distances were plus 350 K with a 2 hr and 45 min
time. More should be posted on the SSA website shortly.
DJ is flying as a guest in 18 Meter, but took top speed honors at
just shy of 80 mph.

Why is DJ flying as a guest?

He was going to Team fly with Rick but Rick couldn't make it. To Team
fly they must do it as guests. So, at the last minute when Rick
couldn't get here, DJ ended up on the bottom of the standby list. So,
they are letting him fly as a "guest". Ha, he's kicking everyone's
butt as he's really on his game.
