Does anyone think this will have any more success than previous attempts?

Nope. Trying to make it hit the LSA weight maximums just makes it harder.

Dude, why are you so cynical?!

How do you know he doesn't build a time machine in 20 years, and then go
back in time to 2006 to give himself the blueprints for the fusion
reactor so he can use it to build the time machine? (He probably stole
the plans from somebody else, but, whatever. He has a time machine so I
wouldn't **** him off if I were me!)

I'm just sayin'... maybe we should consider all possibilities before
ridiculing something so ridiculous.
