I have a handy little BlueTooth GPS logger. I can download files and
then display on GPSVisualer.com, but would love to be able to use
soaring programs to analyze in greater detail. GPSBabel does not
support icg, and programs like SeeYou do not appear to accept NMEA or
types of files generated by GPSBabel or GPSVisualizer. Given the
prevalence of NMEA as a GPS format, is there some relatively easy way
to convert or employ NMEA files in any of the soaring flight analysis
programs? Thanks.

Actually, the latest versions of GPSBabel supposedly DO convert to IGC
format:

Enjoy!

You're right! I just discovered it under FAI/IGC. Works fine.
Thanks.

Not just the latest versions... GPSBabel has supported IGC files since
2004!
