Time-Warner corporate is dropping usenet news as of June 23, 2008.

Please help by asking them to keep it. The person to call works for the TW president:

Relax. Take a deep breath. Set up a new account in your news reader with
the server: nntp.aioe.org. It is totally open, there is no need to even
register with them. Enjoy!

A free news server is interesting.
But a lot of the topics are empty.
