Not yet, however because of the Atty General of NY, using a cannon to kill
a snake, it will be sparse for a while until folks retool..

Verizon, AT&T, AOL, Time Warnet and Sprint are killing ALT. groups

At&T will drop alt.binaries groups

the others will drop alt. groups and only carry the Big 8

some ISPs are taking a filter approach.. rather than kill them all..

Just a thought...

If it makes any real difference to yet, find out which usenet servers
are being sourced to.
Giganews has just changed their binaries archives from 200 days retention
to 240 days , and its possible that the restoration from archives MAY have
upset the dates..
I had to go through 5 levels to managment to find out which service
supplies our ISPs usenet feeds... Just because your ISP sez cox.net or
btconnect.com, the usenet feeds may be coming from a third party..
