About a week and a half ago, I was in Colorado Springs looking over
the SZD-54 Perkoz prototype. The owner and another pilot from the
Netherlands mentioned the design was finishing certification in Poland
and that three more had been built and would soon be offered for
sale. I checked the web site a couple of days later, but couldn't
take much time then, other than to note that 20m tips were offered
(maybe as an option). Today, the web site resolves to computer
support, so I suspect an unpaid hosting bill or some such. Can
someone comment on the status of the project (and maybe the web site)?
TIA,
Frank Whiteley

- Last time I checked their website to download a szd55 sales
brochure, week ago it worked... According to a advertisement Perkoz
will have 20 meter extensions, increasing LD to 41. I found this
article, its in Polish, but you can at least look at the pictures of
the first produced Perkoz.

Thanks for the link. The payload on the prototype was a little low,
but looks like the production model will be a full 220kg.
