There is an aircraft carrier docked at North Island (San Diego) aft of
the George Washington which appears to have its island, antennas and
other structures wrapped in a white material. What carrier is it and
is it being mothballed? Or is the wrapper being used to trap paint
being stripped in preparation for repainting? It can be seen from a
