20 jpgs/day would mean 14 days worth of posting. Posting them as .rars and

If you are going to flood because the shots are topical and current, unknown
to the group, and there is a demand for them, go right ahead.

If you were going to do it on my account, please don't bother.

If you are flooding to meet a need of your own, perhaps you might find a group
that would be less disrupted by your technique and volume.

In any case, keep the rate down to a volume that does not push the posts of
others off the servers before those who might be interested have a chance to
retrieve them.

Listening to anonymous people thumping their chests over who is the "big
man" on a usenet group is frigging hilarious. I have never witnessed so
many people needing to get a life colocated in one place as I have witnessed
here.
As a pilot, I post pix to share the love of flight. I like to make it
viewable for the largest possible audience. For those that have to post in
yEnc and other less "popular" formats... ok. But I don't understand your
intentions. It must not be about airplanes... more about some Nerdy need
to.... what exactly? Oh well, to each his own.

But really... there's way more to life then sitting in front of your
computer all day uploading/downloading files...
If you don't agree... I truly feel sorry for you.

The majority of the group are against the continued floods of .rar files;
I'm one of the majority. I will continue to show my objections to all such
floods.

At least J3 has reduced the number of posts - it was only about six of the
Gemini series. Because of that, there is no reason why J3 couldn't post
them in traditional formats like .jpg/jpeg. It would save everyone.

At least J3 has reduced the number of posts - it was only about six of the Gemini series. Because of that, there is no reason why J3 couldn't post them in traditional formats like .jpg/jpeg.
