I first saw a Mustang at Point Cook airforce base here in Melbourne
(Australia) when I was a young boy; it was in a hangar during
reconstruction, but I fell in love with it right there and then.

Of the older fighters, the Mustang was always a favourite. Of the newer
ones, I love the CF-104, F-15, F-22....and yes....even the SU-27.

I think the Sukhoi fighters were the first to be flown backwards at airshows
(Harriers excepted of course) putting even the Hornet back to second place
for agility. Not the prettiest of course, but handsome is as handsome does.
