Soaring in Italy

I am traveling to Tuscany near the village of Gioranni d' Asso, 45
minutes south of Siena. Is anyone aware of any soaring available in
the area?

I guess you mean San Giovanni d'Asso. Well, you could bite the bullet
and drive to Rieti which is some 150km south of San Giovanni.

Ok, I couldn't resist and looked myself. The nearest would probably be
Arezzo.
