I was looking at some pictures of an LS-1F..........does the fuselage
have a wing fairing? from the pix it appears the wings plug right in
to the side of the fuselage like an LS-3.

Does this model have auto-hookups? looks like maybe the elevator does.

Also, is the F model Experimental?

Thanks,
Brad

Brad,

No wing fairing on the fuselage. Some have add-on fairings that extend
the wing-root, but I believe they stay on the wing. I believe Sam
Giltner made his own fairings. You could check with him for more info
on that. The factory also made add-on fairings, but don't know if
they're still available. Probably not given the age.

Elevator is the only auto-connection. The ailerons and spoilers are a
blind connect (no access hatch), but very easy. Especially with
sleeves. I use the LS sleeves on mine and love them.

Mine is experimental, but most other owners I've talked to have
standard airworthiness certificates.

Let me know if you want more info,
Dave
