One of five prototype Avro 707s.
This one the 707a. see a 707c at RAF Cosford.
Built at Woodford in the 1950s to explore high speed delta wing and air
intake configurations.
This wing root intake config was selected for their Avro Vulcan the big
daddy of deltas.
4 colourful 707s overflew Woodford in formation with the prototype Vulcan, a
moment to savour.
( shame about the camera shake!)
