Grob 109 - Are hand controls available?

[YFCpilots]

Does anyone out there know if hand controls are available for the Grob
109 Motorglider? Or if there are any motorgliders available with hand
operated rudder controls?

Any help would be much appreciated.

At least the non-motorized ASK21 is available with hand operated rudder
controls. Without knowing it, I would assume that the same mod. is
available for the ASK21-Mi.

I have not heard of any but the rudder pedals/linkages are readily
accessable and someone with a bit of inginuity should not have too
much problem rigging that up.

I don't believe it has ever been a certified option though, and I have
read through ALL the info STC's etc.

A friend of mine has a 109A with hand controls, but he doesn't seem to
be on this newsgroup. I'll email you privately to arrange getting his
contact information. Am posting here so the answer is known.
