The following is a cockpit video from inside a "Tipsy Nipper" that
inadvertently enters a flat spin (at one point the pilot mutters resignedly
to himself "I think this is it"):

You know, that is a very well written and instructive accident report.
The U.S. NTSB wouldn't be caught dead providing that level of accident
analysis in its reports.

My hat is off to the pilot.
Has he applied for a test pilots job?
He certainly has the aptitude

Holy ****. I've done a few under instruction, never on my own and really
only knew the canonical recoveries, the last of which saved this guy.
Really really cool to see it work in practice..

The AAIB tend to do all their reports like that. They take time to do,
but generally they offer a lot to learn
