Out of lurk mode:
I have started a new Yahoo group dedicated to the construction of my
nearly ready to fly, self-launching, high performance (for an
ultralight), home-built, soon to be electric powered sailplane, the
Red Tail Hawk. I also discuss future versions that others might want
to build.
The Yahoo group will be operated as a "blog", where I will probably do
most of the posts describing the Red Tail Hawk's design, construction,
and testing, and ideas for improvements. Very on-topic comments and
questions from readers, and anything that can help with the
development of a new version for others to build, are welcome and
encouraged.
Read the charter on the home page for more about this. When applying
for membership, make sure you describe your interest or experience.
**** I have temporarily opened the messages up for public viewing so
you can decide if you want to participate. I'll shut that down after a
few days then you will need to join to read them.
Here is the address for the home page and for becoming a member:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/RedTailHawkUltralightSailplane/
If you want to participate, it would be a good idea to catch up first
by reading the messages already posted in the message archive.
