Hi Guys and Gals (are there any on here? there used to be a couple a year or
two back I remember),
I know that it is Xmas and we all probably have better things to do but
there don't seem to be too many people on here at present? I'm just
wondering if I'm receiving, or rather my ISP is picking up, all the posts. I
guess I'll have to wait for the new year when most people are back into the
cut and thrust of non-holiday life etc. I'm changing my ISP to SKY after 1/1
so I'm going to have to go through a new checking process to see how things
stack up with them I guess. Anyway, trust you all had a good few days. Lots
of cheap buys in the sales etc. I'll stick some more of the Pensacola stuff
on later probably. Hope you are finding the piccies interesting and many
thanks for your comments so far. It never fails to amaze me how generous and
helpful aviation people can be on here, give or take the odd spat that
occurs.
Have a good'un
Mike

Maybe it's because you took Christ out of Christmas (Xmas)

Hi Mike. Your Pensacola stuff is making it up here.

Does your handle AC249 mean anything? I associate AC with Air Canada.

Take care,

Nick

Hi Nick,
Good to hear that you are getting the piccies okay.
My Mum was born in Galt,Ontario and I had some long lost relatives there
some years ago but that is my only Canadian association I'm afraid.
No, the AC249 bit is just my old call sign from when I used to fly Grob
Vigilant T1 motor gliders around giving Air Cadets air experience flights.
I haven't been doing that for a few years now.
Good to hear from you and hope you had a great Christmas.
Mike

Hey Mike!

Cool beans! I'm a former Air Cadet. (Jim Whitecross #6) in Winnipeg. I'm
amazed at the number of Canadians on here. Very nice.

Take care and all the best to you and yours for the holidays and in the new
year!

Nick
