Isn't this the community John Travolta lives in?

Beach.

Some places are ritzy; some are average. I have a hangar home w/pool,
for which I effectively traded a 3-BR, 2.5 bath townhouse in the
People's Republik of Kalifornia even across the board.

We have about 1/3 with taxiway access, 1/3 golf course overlook, 1/3
nature view. We have about 600 planes based here -- literally from Cubs
to jets. About 3000 people live here.

Our EAA Chapter 288 meetings regularly pull in 75-100 members.

My wife was an Army brat and says it is "the best military base she has
ever lived on."

And, no -- Travolta no longer lives here. He was gone when we moved in
10 years ago. Some friends own his former house and tell stories of
people digging plants from their lawn, to have a souvenir of his house.

Sorry -- no offense intended. Orange City os closer to Orlando.

When do you plan to return? Make sure that you are around on Saaturday
mornings at 8AM, for the Gaggle fly-outs.

Next Saturday is a race/rally.

Yes on both counts.

The plane is a 1946 Johnson Rocket. We now have two on the field -- mine
and an orange one, which I have dubbed "The Great Pumpkin."

I play darts with Dave on Tuesday nights, but he wasn't there tonight.

Let one of us know if you wish a Grand Tour.
