For static discharge? For mooring?

Must be for mooring... I see another line
around the floats. A newer definition for
flying "dirty."

Is this the bush-pilot's idiosyncracy?

Made me go look at my photos of the Kenmore Air critters that fly into
Lake Union. Seems the Beavers keep their tow lines stowed, while the
Turbo Otters let 'em hang out.
