Stupid question I'll grant you, but can you imagine if you took one of those
radar guns that they sell commercially to clock a kids baseball pitch, or
Uncle Henry's hotrod as he drives by, and "painted" one of these guys as he
flew by?? I'd love to know how fast they are going but you can bet your
but that someone would be waiting for you when you got out of the field!!
Worse yet they'd probably ban everyone from going up there to take pictures.

1. Sidewinder is air-to-air, not air-to-ground.

2. Unless the Tornado was emitting within the radar gun's frequency, the
gun would have had insufficient return signal to register.

It is a good story, however.
