View Full Version : Automotive parking at uncontrolled airports

I have a question for the group... atleast those of you based at small
and medium sized non-controlled airports. Does your airport charge for
automotive parking in the parking lot adjacent to your operations
building? Ocean City does this for any length beyond 24 hours, and it
seemed kinda' strange to me. Obviously, larger controlled airports with
scheduled service usually have paid parking lots, but not smaller
airports. I was just wondering.

Not at our airport KSWI. Some folks leave cars there so when they fly in.

None around here charge but a couple of them threaten to have your
car towed as abandoned if you don't notify them you are going to leave
it for an extended period.

Ocean City, MD. I should point out that I've been talking mostly about
visitors to the airport. I don't think they intend to charge the
tenants for parking.
