As the 2009 contest season starts to crank up, John Seaborn requested
I remind folks that I will again be supporting GlidePlan customers
with up to date stitched sectionals of all SSA sanctioned contest
areas for 2009. Maps will be posted about a month before the contest
to insure currency.

The included contest area will be big enough to catch all turnpoints
plus about 50 miles of border. The first two contest maps for the
Seniors Championship in Florida and Region 5 North in Perry, SC have
been posted. Glideplan users can get them at http://www.glideplan.com/download/contest.html

The contest download page also contains a helpful video tutorial of
how to quickly construct a contest map, and an illustrated example of
what a typical map might look like.

Thanks,

Matt Herron

Methinks there might be a bunch of problems doing extra USA charts.
Permissions? Copyright issues? awareness of the contest dates and sites.
Maybe not; interested to hear what Herron has to say about this.
