The website indicates this could be built from a kit.

While maybe not viable for a commercial operation, it sure could
appeal to a club.

Brad,

The magazine, "Gliding International", edited (and published?) by John
Roake in New Zealand, has a recurring article about the PIK 27 that is
under construction by builder Bob Ward. It's the last article in the
magazine in most issues.

He has been building the steel frame fuselage and will probably use a
Rotax 914 engine (does Porsche know about these Rotax names?).

I don't remember where in the world he is located.
