Not only that, most people don't even bother looking at what are probably
some very good pictures. It just isn't worth the bother.

IHMO:
No bother , just use a proper newsreader, then, its no hassle at all..

I, myself do not post in yEnc, but I have other real things to bother
me, other than a minor issue such as this... Xnews works , try it...


Course I was reading USENET back when you had to use UUdecode to see any
pictures at all.. and FTP or GOPHER the images, back before Al Gore
"Invented" the internet...

Those who have real newsreaders don't even notice how a binary is encoded,
their newsreaders handle it automatically.
