West Coast Motor Glider Fly-In Aug 21-23
The Grob 109 Pilots Association will be hosting its first annual West
Coast Motor Glider Fly-In at Minden-Tahoe Airport August 21st through
the 23rd. All motor glider pilots are welcome to participate, either
by flying in or as a "spectator."
Activities include Flying, round table discussions of joint interest,
a seminar on mountain flying and mountain weather by local experts, an
on-field BBQ Saturday night, a Basque dinner on Friday night, and
Flying. There is also the possibility of aerial photography by a
professional photographer (picture your airplane against the backdrop
of Lake Tahoe).

Note: We have a special rate at the Historian Inn, Gardnerville, NV)
at the rate of $88/night including tax. It’s not a huge place so book

Basque Restaurant. Mention the Fly-In for the discount. Other options

Best Western ($90/night plus tax).
