Paint touchup on Magnesium

[Roger (K8RI)]

I need to do some touch up on Magnesium with a few bare spots.
What's a good prep and primer for said areas?

It's an etch, something like Alodine. Magnedine, I think it's
called. I suspect ACS has it.

Try a motorcycle shop for some self etching motorcycle case paint.
Yamaha has the best if you can find a shop that has it in stock.
