Also a fantastic shot/image.
Is it just me or do a lot of us airplane/aviation fiends....er... fans....
also love boats and the ocean? Most of the artwork in my home is of
boats/seashore type scenes. For those of you who have not discovered
"Sherman's Lagoon"... I strongly recommend it! It is a fantastic
cartoon/comic and well worth reading every day. Other than SWAMP, it is one
I never miss.

Just a thought.... for those of you who have not tried it yet.... there is a
program called RocketDock which is kind of neat. I don't always run it but
on occasion I find it really usefull and great to have around. It will help
you organize your desktop and keep your most often used icons/shortcuts
handy.

Not still, again. I joined the Regular Force in 1975 and served variously in
Shilo, Valcartier and Chatham with the RCHA and RCA, with interludes abroad on
UN duty in El Salvador, Germany, Cyprus, Egypt, Israel and Lebanon. I got out
in '96 on the Force Reduction Plan and returned to read history at
l'Université d'Ottawa. I now work at the House of Commons as a proceduralist
(greffier de comité ŕ Chambre des communes).

Sorry - mixed up my reading of who posted the pup picture; thought it
was Dave. I shall send myself to bed with supper.
Replacement brain is backordered...

Not to worry. This is my dog Max, our shearer Ernie with Lizzie the
marino.
The photo was taken about five years ago and sadly, none of them are with us
anymore.

Here's mine.
A little subdued, with a little more light and less contrast than the
original which is... somewhere.
Scanned from a package of envelopes and letter paper, edited for the
x0th anniversary of Battle of Britain, but I'm not so sure.

My desktop picture was taken by Brian Case from his HP-16T sailplane. I am in my HP-14 soaring over the desert about half way between Craters of the Moon National Monument and Arco, Idaho. My altitude was about 15,500 MSL.

How do you put all your icons in a border like this?
Can it be done in Windows 7?

Golly, but your NSP has great retention... =)
I use a spiffy file manager called 'Directory Opus' from GPSoftware
http://www.gpsoft.com.au/
I have used DOpus since the 1980s when it was created for the
Commodore Amiga; a very powerful replacement for the Windows file
manager, and capable of many useful tricks beyond simple file
schlepping.
A tad spendy, but there are quite a few other free- and shareware
programs out there that will make desktop docks for launching programs
and files.
'Rocketdock' (http://rocketdock.com/) is a decent free option that I
have used in the past; also works with Windows 7 (I'm still using
Vista.)
