Spotted this unintentional(?) plug for gliding on the main RV homebuilt
site:

The poster is the Lead Flight Director, Space Shuttle Operations. Doubt
that many RV builders will suddenly be tearing the engines out of their RVs
(such stubby wings!) but thought it a mildly unusual place to find a plug
for adding a glider rating.

Of course Richard Van Grunsven (RV) plugs soaring.

BTW, Has anyone at the US 18 meter National in Ephrata taken pictures of his new 18 meter Anteras.?

Just to clarify:
Dick's new plane is actually an Antares 20E (20-meter) wearing short
18-meter wingtips for this contest.
The Antares 18 has a slightly different wing and no electric self-
launch...

Best Regards, Dave "YO electric shorty-18"
