mechequip.com
Phone: 864-967-3420
Contest Director is: Richard Maleady
Weather: Scott Fletcher
This race will be run similar to a GTA event. It will be a non
sanctioned contest. The participating pilots will split the ferrying
costs of the tow planes, and lodging for the tow pilots. Initial
entry fee will be $30.00. Evening meals will be offered onsite Friday
and Saturday nights. If you are interested in attending this contest
please send me an e-mail requesting a contest entry application.
Richard is going to create a turnpoint file for Triple Tree, prior to
the contest, by combining the Perry and the Spartanburg turnpoint
files.
Richard, and the Scorer will work out the racing classes depending on
the planes and pilots that enter.
The Triple Tree site is quite unique, some of the highlights are:
7,000 FT grass strip, Gazebo, Shower and bathroom facilities, fuel,
private lake for landing your float plane, camping facilities. This
site has the potential to accommodate a national sized contest. For
further details please visit their website at: http://tripletreeflyin.com/
I’m also looking for volunteers to fill the following contest
management slots:
Tow Pilot Coordinator
Scorer
Meal Coordinator
