Well..

......having previously owned a 172, I think I would have continued the
landing as this pilot did...

(Now , remember this is judging only from the vid)

If this had been a "bounce" that may have compromised directional
control, I probably would have gone around..

Less flaps would have helped....

Good point on the flaps. I think the general consensus is the landing
was appropriate.
