I got to see that in March when I was over visit my new wife's family in
Cootamundra. Talked to one of the ladies in the store, mentioning that I
had some pictures of a Hawker Sea Fury done up in RAN markings and asked
if they'd like me to email copies. A bit later, she approached my wife
and I and explained she was taking some folks over to another hanger to
show the Sabre and asked if we wanted to see it. My camera is just a
pocket Sony and doesn't do well indoors, but this is the best shot of it
a few weeks before it was ready for taxi tests.
I'll be moving to Coota permanently somewhere down the road, and hope
they have room for a Yank on the volunteer roster.
