I haven't been able to get to the spot tracking pages for sports class
nationals for a few days. The spot-tracking.com server seems not to
respond. Has anyone else had this problem? Or is it just a little
message from my dean to stop goofing off at the office and get back to
work?
Thanks

Why are bosses such wet blankets? Wonder if it has anything to do with
"work" being a 4 letter word...

Frank Paynter said there was a problem with the server.

John,

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Its a long story, but the
bottom line is my ISP decided that I'd had my static IP long enough
(since 2004) and gave it away to someone else without so much as a
'howdedo'. Consequently, our SPOT tracking magic was no longer
available to the internet. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending
on your point of view) the weather sucked so bad that the loss of
internet connectivity only cost us a couple of days ;-)

The static IP problem has been fixed, and our gerbil force is back at
work. We plan to support the Logan, UT contest and maybe a couple of
others this year, and (hopefully) a full season next year.

Regards,

Frank (TA)
