Aircraft Designations by
David Townend
The second printing of "Military Aircraft Designations and Systems" is still
available. We were out of print soon after our October 2002 printing so it
is good to have copies available again. We are also able to hold the
original price, too. Military Aircraft designations
catalogued from 1913 to...

tachometer connection question by
Mike Marsh
I was just wondering if anyone knows what each pin (marked A, B, C) at
the rear of a G.E. type E-9A tachometer (serial no. AC42-65950)
connects to? I am assuming that the connections are similar to an
automotive tach, is that correct? Will trial/error testing hurt the
tach? I am trying to retrofit...

From what I've heard, the people that bought the paperwork are trying to
make the parts considered bogus, but I don't think they have a...

rivet and dimple paint prep by
Dick
My recently acquired 30+ year old project restoration
had some "powder" under the paint at the rivet/dimples
on the fuselage. I believe it was old body putty.
What "filler" can be recommended for smoothing over the rivet/dimple prior
to repriming/repainting?
Thanks, Dick
