Loreto PIREP by
Robert M. Gary
Flew down to Loreto, MX yesterday. Immigration made me buy visas for
the boys this time (age 9, 10) but otherwise business as usual. Got my
annual permit w/o hassle. Airport commander was confused by my 2.5 year
old class 2 medical but finally either understood the rules or just
decided to agree...

Black Star by

Good article in latest issue of AW&ST about probable two stage to
orbit vehicle that may have replaced SR-71, etc.
If you don't have access to AW&ST try your library as the data is very
interesting reading.

1st solo IFR/IMC experience by
Jack Allison
We needed to get the Arrow to the avionics shop at another airport and
both partners are out of town. Gee, that means I have to fly the plane.
What, you mean skip work to fly, since the avionics shop is open
8-5…and the problem with that is...what? :-) Even better, it was a
Monday. What a way...

As a student pilot, I want to buy some pilots stuff such as a Headset(DC),

Aeronautical Engineer says Official 9/11 Story Not Possible by
Robert M. Gary
Sounds like the guy hasn't done much research.
But if the intent is to execute any kind of a maneuver with even the
least bit of precision, the task immediately becomes quite daunting.
True, in fact they did a really ****ty job. They overspeed the planes
several times and had to circle around...

I'd like to acknowledge Jay Honeck for donating the funds to get another

been laboring over for the last few years.
This server also hosts a number of other general aviation items,
including some EAA chapters' websites,...

Anybody flew into IGX lately by
abripl
Considering flying into (Horace Williams) IGX after Sun-N-Fun. I'm low
timer, not keen on RDU traffic with my small plane. How is the service?
security? overnight parking?
