This has got to be the coolest site I've ever seen. They have tons of
public domain archives of classic videos - I mean OLD stuff - free for the
download.

Air Force One at Daytona by

I promise, promise, promise there is no political agenda here. I just think
this is a great photo. Don't know how far the runway is from the stands, but
the illusion is that the wings are practically over the race crowd.

Showalter in Orlando charging $45 to open gate by
Piperflyer
Showalter at Orlando Exec would not give out the gate code for re-entry
after 10:30PM for my return flight and now charges $45 for opening the gate
for re-entry to the airport after hours. Does anyone know if Kissimmee
airport is doing the same or other airports in the Orlando area?

Stupid Attorney taling about GPS's by
Gerald Sylvester
I never read anything about this Scott Petersen murder
trial before. I saw a headline about a "GPS." I started
to read it and I guess the guys car had a GPS in it
and the prosecution is trying to place him at the murder
scene. Well the defense attorney is saying the GPS
is inaccurate due to a...

Kerry's coming to OSH by
Jay Honeck
Okay, this guy can't be all bad. He's ridden a motorcycle to Milwaukee,
*and* he's flown into OSH?
He was interviewed yesterday in currently-frozen OSH, saying that he was
working hard to arrange for his campaign to be there during the fly-in.
I may not like his politics, but at least he's got...

CAP discounts by
Tony Cox
Does anyone know what sorts of discounts are offered
to CAP members on aircraft parts, compared to say
buying from Sporty's or Chief?
Any other info on CAP would be most welcome. I'm
weighing up the pros and cons of joining (and I'll need
a new fuel bladder in a few months, shameless...

Enlarged sectionals? by
Chris Hoffmann
Does anyone sell sectionals which have been enlarged, i.e. are easier to
read? Would make it easier on a few pax who have trouble following along,
even with reading glasses.
I dunno if such a thing would still be called a sectional, as the scales
would then be off...

Airport Terminal Pack by
flyer
Got the recently released Universal 4-DVD Airport series. Was watching Airport
and Airport 79 The Concorde last night. The Concorde especially was good for
many laughs. I can't believe they could have ever made put out a film so
riddled with inaccuracies for worldwide audiences. Granted, most...

More Aviation Videos by
Jay Honeck
Had some time to kill this afternoon, so I uploaded 18 (yep, EIGHTEEN) new
aviation videos to our website.
These have been sent to me by folks from all over the world. Everything
from video of a new helicopter owner who tried to take 'er for a spin
without the bother of flight lessons (oops!), to...

....with a 93. I would have liked a better score, but 93 is passing, so I'm
happy.
I used the King CD's on my PC at home and read the Gleim red book at work
during my lunch hours. I found it helpful to highlight the correct answers
and ignore looking at the incorrect ones. I also made notes in the...
