CriCri / Cricket Kit by
[email protected]
(cross-posted from marketplace)
I have a complete CriCri / Cricket kit with original plans, build
manual, engines and props available. This is a great kit! My reason
for selling is that I bought a nearly complete CriCri recently, so
this kit has become redundant to my needs.
The CriCri is a...

Lawrance 5 Cyl. Mini-Radial Engines by
Victor Bravo
I have a couple of Lawrance 5 cylinder mini radials. They were used as
the APU electrical generator engine for the B-29 bomber, and perhaps
for other ground power applications. They're about 24-30 inches in
diameter, and weigh 60 or 80 pounds approx.
They are cute as hell, and look like half size...

The Latest Sport Aviation has a WHAT on the cover? by
Kyle Boatright
A Cirrus? You gotta be kidding me.
I know, this is a quarterly topic for discussion, but I swear, EAA is
becoming AOPA. I guess it pays better or something. When was the last
warbird article in Sport Aviation? OK, how 'bout the last restoration of an
antique by the owner (not by someone who...

New EAA Airventure/Oshkosh Poster by
BobR
Tuesday night we had our EAA Chapter 34 local meeting for the month
and the chapter president showed us the latest EAA Posters for the
upcoming Airventure show. The response to them from the chapter was a
total thumbs down. While we thought the idea was "cute", we also
thought it gave a rather...

Dick[_1_]
Wanting to use a nylon sleeve over a 1/8" elevator cable to avoid rubbing on
another crossing in mid-fuselage, what do you think about the following
methods of securing the sleeve/tube so it doesn't slip out of position:
slip sleeve over RTV'd cable section; clamp sleeve ends with safety wire;...

Response to Harvey Swack by
flybd5
In April of 2007 a Mr. Harvey Swack published a letter attacking the
"scruples" of Jim Bede, allegedly because Jim Bede did not flight test
the aircraft. The letter was in response to an article the son of a
BD-5 builder wrote about his experiences with his dad and the building
and flying of his...

Anyone familiar with an experimental delta wing in Georgia? by
es330td
This past weekend I was doing my weekly trips around the pattern at
the Covington, GA airfield (9A1.)
While I was there, an experimental was doing some general flying
around, including turning base, and then final as though landing but
simply flew down the runway and never actually touched down....
