New models from Bell. by
Goku
I read in some publications about that Bell must be working on a replace for the
206 discarding the two blade rotor, but are speculations.
Also some people speculates about an Updated 430, as EC made with the BK117,
with a new composite body, new engines and a new quiet tail rotor.
And more, a...

Hughes 369D/500D by
Kent Shih
How do you tell the difference between Hughes 369D and 500D from the
outside?
Does any one know if that Hughes (TC's) helicopter appeared in Magnum P.I.'s
TV shows a 369D or a 500D?

Bell 427 Main Rotor System by
Bob M
Is anyone out there familar with the design of the Bell 427 main
rotor? Since I first saw it I've been quite a fan of the design with
it's composite yoke for coning and flapping relief and it's rather
novel and very simple damping elements. Yet today I read that Bell
plans to re-rotor the 427...

Improvements in air flow for non-conventional aircraft. by
NiceGuyInPDX
A small company is claiming that their product is incapable of
stalling. The wing design if converted into a slow moving rotor might
generate more lift. There would be considerable centrifical force
though. Here's the link to the description page.

Do I own my airspace? by
Chief McGee
OK, here is the situation: Building an ultralight helicopter. If it comes
out to weight more than 254, can I legally fly it above my own land. I have
10 acres in the country, no ARSA, no controlled air space, no license. Can
the FAA tell me I can not hover it one foot off the ground if I am on...

UH-12B by
brien
Thinking of buying a OH-23B, the wood blades are bad just how hard are they
to find, and at what cost $$$.
Also the OH-23 never had the airworthness cert issued, this should be the
same as the UH-12B . I believe I can get the standard airworthness cert with
a DAR and conformity with the original...
