Trafalgar Square victory celebration, 1945 by
Krztalizer

The Mosquito XVI on display at the postwar celebration was parked in a manner
that makes ID impossible - I can't even tell if its a PR or a B (I feel its a
B). Does anyone know what is the serial number, squadron or other...

George Z. Bush
Somebody sent me the following posting that I did not see or get since
everything Art Kramr posts in RAM is filtered out of my computer. I normally
wouldn't bother responding, except that I'm afraid that some readers might
misinterpret my silence in a derogatory way as it pertains to me, and that...

Future military fighters and guns - yes or no ? by
championsleeper
Hi,
I'm interested in canvassing opinions regarding the inclusion of a gun
on future military aircraft. If you listen to some of the blurb out
there (government, aircraft manufacturers, hollywood) it would appear
that its all going to be BVR (beyond visual range) type stuff with no
need for a gun....

80 JDAM82s by
Tony
We were BS'ing the other day about the B-2 bombers ability to drop 80 GPS
guided 500 pounders at one go and what could be done with that capability.
I noted that you could actually draw simple cartoons with 80 bomb craters.
One of the guys suggested a smiley face.
I thought that was a bit over the...

STRAFING AS IF IN A DREAM by
ArtKramr
Strafing as if in a Dream
It was a rare mission for us. Marauders were never meant to be thrown around at
low level at high speed. And this was a low-level mission. We were to bomb a
military target in a small city. Then we were to go down on the deck and
strafe. It was the first strafing mission...

Quick guide to the F-35 JSF versions. by
Henry J Cobb
Why do we need three different versions of the F-35?
What are the service requirements that are driving these three versions?
The Air Force's F-35A is the least expensive version and it requires
F/A-22s to clear the way so the Air Force needs runways anyway. Because
the Air Force always needs...

the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is to support Israel and to never
offend the Israeli lobby.

I'm Hit!, I'm Hit!
Bob slammed back his copilots seat and threw his hands over his face."I'm hit!
I'm hit!" he shouted. I whirled around to see Bob over my right shoulder from
my position in the nose. Bob was writhing in pain holding his head. Then Paul
came on the intercom, "There's no blood,...
