Upside down flag by
Mike Keown
Heard a curious conversation on a late night talk show.
One of the speakers said: " If you ever see a warship
flying its national ensign (flag) upside down it means that
the crew has mutinied and taken over the vessel..." Is that true? If so, is
it a international sign known to all sailors
and...

"Lazy Dogs" by

In 1963/1964, the U.S. Navy had a stockpile of over 700 Mk-44 Lazy Dog
bombs stored at Subic Bay (Philippine) Naval Base. The USAF got the Lazy Dog
bombs for use in the Vietnam War after they were released by the Navy.
Which U.S. Navy aircraft could have dropped the Lazy Dogs?

Probably slightly against the rules, but I hope people will bear with me.

some duplicates.

patwing two unit WWII question PB4Y 1? by
Harriet and John
You will want to look at VPNavy.ORG and enter the "Search" field, type in
PB4Y-1 and you will find what you are looking for. A preliminary look seems
to indicate that you want Patrol Squadron 112, vice Patrol Squadron 12, but
have at it.
