Tinker Flying Club by
Jester
Hello all,
I have heard rumors in the past that Tinker Air Force Base (OKC)
had a flying club. I have looked in the base newspaper, and the tinker
homepage with no luck. I have also DAGS. Anyone know if one is still in
exsistence, or even fly with them. I heard they may be based out...

Commercial rating? by
Paul Tomblin
So I've got my instrument rating, complex endorsement and 450 hours PIC.
So I've starting thinking about the commercial rating. But I've got some
questions:
- I understand there isn't much airwork involved and that it's mostly
about knowing aircraft systems. Is that correct?
- The requirements...

Airparks and clubs around Phoenix AZ ? by
gilan
Are there any small airparks and flying clubs around the Phoenix AZ area?
I'm not talking about the airports on the sectional chart. I'm looking for
the small grass or dirt fields with Experimentals and or Ultralights? OK I
suppose some may be on sectional charts.

The more I looked into the insurance thing, the worse it got.
Thanks to all of you who helped make flying as interesting and
rewarding as it was for me.
No need to reply. I am un-subscribing from this newsgroup and putting
all things to do with aviation out of my mind for a while. I need...

Flight Training in Mexico by
pjbphd
I am a U.S. citizen who may be spending quite a bit of time in Mexico. Does
anyone know if I can earn a pilots certificate in Mexico that will be
recognized elsewhere even though I'm not a Mexican citizen or national?
Thanks

Glider rating near Sacramento by
Robert M. Gary
I'm thinking about getting a glider rating for my BFR this summer. I
talked with one place in Truckee but was told it would take an entire
week to do.
Are there any places to do this that specalize in BFRs such that you
can fly much more per day in order to be done in a few intense days? I

What will user fees do to small towered airports by
Steve Foley
I am wondering what user fees will do my local airport. ORH (Worcester
Regional Airport) is a towered airport with four commercial flights
*WEEKLY*. Needless to say, the airport is struggling.
If user fees go into effect, will each take-off and landing incur a user
fee?
There are ten uncontrolled...

First of all, I'd like to thank those of you who responded to my post about
Gen Scott's passing. It's always a good feeling to realize how close we are
